Hubungan Penerapan Model Cooperative Learning dengan Motivasi Belajar Peserta Didik pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islami

Rendahnya motivasi dan keterlibatan peserta didik masih menjadi persoalan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), terutama ketika proses pembelajaran didominasi metode yang berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan penerapan model Cooperative Learning dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMP Al-Tamimi. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada pengujian empiris kontribusi pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap motivasi belajar dalam konteks PAI jenjang sekolah menengah pertama yang mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, sosial, dan nilai keagamaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel terdiri atas 40 peserta didik kelas VII yang dipilih dari populasi sebanyak 158 peserta didik melalui teknik proportional sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan korelasi Pearson, regresi linear sederhana, koefisien determinasi, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penerapan Cooperative Learning dan motivasi belajar, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,601 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 36,1%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif berkaitan dengan peningkatan partisipasi, tanggung jawab, interaksi, dan ketekunan belajar. Implikasinya, guru PAI perlu menerapkan kerja kelompok yang terstruktur, menjamin tanggung jawab individual, dan menyediakan bimbingan yang memadai untuk memperkuat motivasi peserta didik.
