Substance and Systematization of Articles

Articles published in the Proceedings: International Seminar on Education Studies are articles that examine issues in the field of education studies in Indonesia and abroad. The required elements of an article are: 1) title, 2) author's name, institution name, and email address, 3) abstract and keywords, 4) introduction, 5) methods, 6) results and discussion, 7) conclusion, and 8) references.

Writing style

Articles published in Proceedings: International Seminar on Educational Studies have the following writing style:

  1. Accepted articles are written using MS Word, A4 paper, 10 to 20 pages long, single-spaced and using Georgia 11 pt font.
  2. The title of the article is written specifically and effectively, with a maximum of 15 words in Indonesian.
  3. Author and institution names. The author's name must be accompanied by the author's institution, email address, without academic titles and positions.
  4. The abstract is the core of the article, written in one paragraph, using Indonesian and English, with a maximum of 100-250 words. The abstract is written in one paragraph and covers the research background, research objectives, research methodology, results and discussion, uniqueness, and contributions.
  5. Keywords consist of 3 to 5 keywords that reflect the concepts written in the article.
  6. The introduction includes general background or problem background, gap analysis or problem statement, review of previous studies, uniqueness of the research, hypotheses (if applicable), and research objectives.
  7. The research methodology includes the research approach and methods, data types and sources, data collection techniques, data analysis techniques, and the time and location of the research (if applicable).
  8. Results and Discussion. This section includes the latest data analysis, hypothesis testing, and answers to research questions, as well as findings. The discussion involves the interpretation of results, comparisons with other studies and theories, and the implications of the research results.
  9. Conclusion. This section summarizes the author's conclusions on the issues discussed (in accordance with the research objectives), practical implications and benefits, study limitations, and recommendations.
  10. References.
  11. Provide information about the literature used in the article with 80% primary and current literature (from journals and research articles) and 20% text citations (maximum 5 years old).
  12. Tables and graphs used must be accompanied by sources and numbering.
  13. Footnotes and bibliographies follow the writing guidelines of the Al-Jina'i Al-Islami Journal.
  14. The language used in the Proceedings: International Seminar on Educational Studies is proper and correct English.

Footnote style

The footnote system applied in the Proceedings: International Seminar on Educational Studies is the 17th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style (Complete Notes) and uses the Mendeley/Zotero/Endnote reference management tools.

Bibliography
