Publication Ethic

Nusantara Education Review Journal adheres to the ethical standards of scientific publication, ensuring that all parties involved—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—uphold integrity, transparency, and academic honesty. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Duties of Authors

  • Ensure originality of the manuscript and avoid plagiarism in all forms.

  • Properly cite sources and acknowledge the contributions of others.

  • Avoid multiple, redundant, or concurrent publication of the same research.

  • Disclose any potential conflict of interest.

  • Guarantee that all listed authors have significantly contributed to the research and approved the final version of the manuscript.

2. Duties of Editors

  • Make fair and unbiased decisions based solely on academic merit, without discrimination.

  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Ensure a transparent peer-review process.

  • Prevent and address any research or publication misconduct.

  • Promote academic quality and uphold ethical publishing standards.

3. Duties of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews.

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts and not use information from them for personal advantage.

  • Identify relevant published works not cited by the authors.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest in the review process.

4. Duties of Publisher

  • Ensure editorial independence and integrity throughout the publication process.

  • Support the editorial board in maintaining ethical standards.

  • Safeguard intellectual property rights and promote academic dissemination.

  • Act responsibly in cases of proven misconduct, such as plagiarism or fraudulent data.
