Author Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR WRITING SHIBYAN JOURNAL OF PRIMARY MADRASAH TEACHER EDUCATION

Articles we accept are the results of research in the field of primary madrasah teacher education with the following guidelines:

A. Length of Writing

Manuscripts should be between 8 and 15 pages long, with 1.5 spacing and 12 pt Times New Roman font. (The editorial team reserves the right to edit manuscripts for technical reasons.)

 

B. Writing Format

1. Title

    • The title does not have to be the same as the title of the proposal and should not exceed 12 words.
    • The location name does not need to be listed in detail.

 

2. Abstract

    • The abstract should be only one paragraph with no more than 150 words.
    • There should be no more than 5 keywords, arranged alphabetically.
    • Contents: include background, methods, results and implications, and conclusions.

 

3. Introduction

    • The introduction consists of no more than five paragraphs, and the last paragraph contains a statement of the objectives and benefits of the activity.
    • The content of the introduction includes the reasons for carrying out the activity, the theoretical framework, and an analysis of the current situation.

 

4. Methods

    • Describe the steps taken in the community service program, starting from planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
    • This can be presented in the form of images, matrices, or flowcharts.
    • Also describe the methods used in the community service, such as Participatory Action Research (PAR), Community-Based Research (CBR), Service Learning (SL), or ABCD (Asset Based Community Development).

 

5. Results and Discussion

    • Community service is an effort to disseminate science, technology, and art to the community.
    • These activities must be able to provide added value to the community, whether in economic activities, policies, or behavioral (social) changes.
    • Explain that the community service activities have been able to bring about changes to individuals/communities and institutions in both the short and long term.

 

6. Conclusion

    • The sentence should be concise, but able to summarize the content of the results and discussion.
    • Do not copy and paste text from the discussion.

 

7. Acknowledgements (if necessary)

 

8. References

    • References in the bibliography must be found in the body of the text and should be the most recent references possible.
    • Example of a reference from a journal article: Hakim, L. 2005. Tempurung Kelapa Sawit. Info Ristek 3(1):52-60
    • Example of a reference from a book: Gerhard, M. 1971. Effective Teaching Strategies with The Behavioral Outcome Approach. Parker Publishing Co. Inc. New York.

 

C. Attach a statement (in the supplementary menu)

  1. Original work, not plagiarized.
  2. Attach the results of a plagiarism check.
  3. Never published elsewhere.
