Substance and Systematics of Articles

Articles published in Ekubis: Jurnal Ekonomi, Keuangan & Bisnis are articles that discuss issues related to economics, finance, and business in Indonesia and abroad. The elements required in an article are: 1) title, 2) author's name, institution name, and e-mail address, 3) abstract and keywords, 4) introduction, 5) Research Method, 6) results and discussion, 7) conclusion, and 8) References.

Writing style

Articles published in the Ekubis: Jurnal Ekonomi, Keuangan & Bisnis Journal have the following writing style:

  1. Accepted articles are those written using MS Word, A4 paper (margin top-bottom-left-right, 3-3-3-3 cm), 15 to 20 pages in length, with one-point spacing and using Sabon Next LT 12 pt font. Sapece 1.

  2. The title of the article is written specifically and effectively, with a maximum of 15 words in Indonesian or English.

  3. Author's name and institution. The author's name must be accompanied by the author's institution, email address, without academic title and position.

  4. The abstract is the essence of the paper, written in one paragraph, using Indonesian and English, and a maximum of 150-250 words. The abstract is made in one paragraph consisting of (1). Background of the problem (2). Research objectives (3). Research methods (4). Results and discussion (5). Novelty and (6). Implications

  5. Keywords consist of 3 to 5 keywords that reflect the concepts written in the paper.

  6. Introduction consisting of (1). General background/academic concerns. (2). Gap analysis, gap statement. (3). Review of previous literature, as the basis for the scientific novelty statement of previous articles. A “literature review” as found in research reports (theses, dissertations, and dissertations) is not permitted, but is realized in the form of a review of previous literature. (4). Novelty or novelty statement/differences or uniqueness of this research compared to previous research, or in terms of the importance of the research or comparison of uniqueness with previous research. (5) Hypothesis (if any). (6) At the end of the introduction, write the purpose of the article/research. Authors are not permitted to include subheadings in this introduction section.

  7. Methods. This section should include the following elements: (1) research approach and methods, (2) type and source of data, (3) data collection techniques, (4) data analysis techniques, (5) time and place of research (optional).

  8. Results and Discussion. This section consists of the latest data analysis, hypothesis testing, and answering research questions, and findings. The discussion involves the interpretation of the results, comparisons with other research and theories, and the implications of the research results.

  9. Conclusion. This section contains research conclusions and suggestions made based on the findings, which are indicated at certain points with operational suggestions in short paragraphs.

  10. References. Provide information on the literature used in the article with 80% primary and current literature (from journal and research articles) and 20% textual citations (maximum last 5 years).

  11. The tables and graphs used must be accompanied by sources and numbering.

  12. Footnotes and bibliographies use the Ekubis: Jurnal Ekonomi, Keuangan & Bisnis Journal writing guidelines.

  13. The language used in Ekubis: Jurnal Ekonomi, Keuangan & Bisnis is good and correct Indonesian or English.

Footnote style
