Peer Review Process

Some policies in the review of An-Nida : Jurnal Pendidikan Islam:

  1. Reviewers will review each submitted paper.
  2. The review process uses a double-blind review, which means that both the book review and the author's identity are hidden from reviewers, and vice versa.
  3. In the review process, reviewers consider the correspondence of titles, abstracts, discussions (findings), and conclusions. In addition, the reviewers also examine new things, scientific impacts, and references used in the paper.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Ethics of An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Journal Publication

An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is one of the journals managed by the Postgraduate Master's Program in Islamic Religious Education, Universitas Islam Nusantara which was first published in 2010. An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is a scientific journal published twice a year.

This scientific code of ethics statement is a code of ethics statement for all parties involved in the process of publishing scientific journals, especially managers, editors, best partners, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication basically upholds three ethical values in publication, such as (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in maintaining the publications; (ii) Justice, which is to give authorship rights to those who are entitled as authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism in publications.

Publisher's Responsibilities

  1. Journal Publisher An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is responsible for publishing the manuscript which passes through the process of editing, reviewing, and laying out in accordance with the rules of Scientific Journal publishing.
  2. Journal Publisher An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for editors and best partners in carrying out their respective duties.
  3. Journal Publisher An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is responsible for maintaining the privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, and editorial freedom.

Editor's Responsibilities

  1. An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Editor is responsible for deciding appropriate texts to be published through editorial council meetings which refer to applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright violation, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.
  2. In the process of reviewing and receiving the manuscript, the editorial team of the An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Journal based on the principle of equality of treatment in making decisions to publish the text by not distinguishing the race, gender, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, or political ideology of the author.
  3. The editor and editorial team of the An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Journal will not disclose any information about the manuscript or manuscript entered except with the author's permission.
  4. Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the research editor of the An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Journal for their own interests and will be returned directly to the author.

Mitrabestari's Responsibility

An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Mitrabestari assists the editor in making editorial decisions on the texts / incoming texts.

  1. An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Mitrabestari is responsible for the recommendations of the manuscript is reviewed.
  2. The study of the manuscript is done objectively and is supported by clear arguments.
  3. An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Mitrabestari is responsible for citation, reference, duplication, fabrication of data, falsification of data, and plagiarism of the texts it examines.
  4. An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Mitrabestari must always maintain the confidentiality of the information and must not use information from the manuscript that it examines for personal gain/interest.

Author's Responsibilities

  1. The author must present the text of his/her thoughts or researches results clearly, honestly, and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.
  2. The author is responsible for the confirmation submitted for the written text.
  3. The author must show a reference to the opinions and works of others quoted.
  4. The author must write the script ethically, honestly, and responsibly, in accordance with the applicable scientific writing rules.
The author does not mind if the text is edited in the process of review and layout without changing the substance or main idea of the writing.


References Management

In writing Citation and Bibliography, An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam uses Mendeley's Reference Management Software.


Screening Plagiarism

Every submitted paper will go through plagiarism screening by Turnitin.


Publication Frequensy

An-Nida: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is published twice a year in January and July.

If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs.

If you do not have the funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
