Abstract

This study aims to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Dayak Hindu Buddhist community of Bumi Segandu in implementing the values of Pancasila. The Dayak Hindu Buddhist community of Bumi Segandu is a Dayak community located in Losarang District, Indramayu District, so it is also called Dayak Losarang. The Dayak Losarang community implements Pancasila values well in some respects, but in some other ways Losarang Dayaks have not implemented Pancasila values well. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method. The result of the research shows that the supporting factor of the implementation of Pancasila values is the existence of traditions conducted by the Dayak Losarang community in which the values are shared, the same service from the local government to the Dayak Losarang community. While the inhibiting factor is the Dayak Losarang community has its own belief, namely the natural history of the sense ngaji sourced from nature, Dayak Losarang people are less obedient to government regulations.
