Pustakawan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam sebuah perpustakaan. Hal ini dikarenakan, pustakawan memiliki pengaruh penting dalam pengelolaan yang terjadi pada perpustakaan. Tanpa adanya pustakawan, perpustakaan tidak akan berjalan dengan baik. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut perlu adanya pemilihan dan pelatihan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) agar program yang telah direncanakan sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Selain itu, untuk dikenal oleh masyarakat, perlu adanya promosi. Dengan adanya promosi diharapkan perpustakaan akan semakin dikenal dan dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh masyarakat.
ABSTRACT
Librarians are one of the important aspects in a library. This is because, librarians have important influences in management that occur in libraries. Without librarians, the library will not run well. To achieve this goal, the selection and training of Human Resources (HR) is needed so that the planned program is in accordance with what is expected. In addition, to be known by the public, there needs to be a promotion. With the promotion it is hoped that the library will be better known and utilized by the community.
