Pelatihan Penerapan Virtual Reality Berbasis Ekowisata Untuk Meningkatkan Daya Tarik Batik Kayu Di Desa Wisata Krebet

Abstract

Krebet Tourism Village, Bantul, Yogyakarta is known for its culturally valuable wood batik crafts, which have become an icon of local ecotourism. However, this village faces challenges in the form of a decline in tourist numbers, limited integration of tourist attractions, and insufficient digital promotion. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training on the application of Virtual Reality (VR) based on ecotourism with the aim of increasing the community's understanding of ecotourism while strengthening the promotion of Krebet wood batik. This activity consists of pre-training (needs analysis), socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring accompanied by evaluation, and program sustainability planning. The test used was a multiple-choice pretest-posttest analyzed with N-Gain. The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, from a pretest average score of 57.46 to 100 on the posttest, resulting in an N-Gain of 1.00 (high category). The VR application allows tourists to explore Krebet's potential immersively, including the process of wood batik and its craft philosophy. The application of this technology is effective as an educational and promotional medium, and contributes to strengthening the attractiveness and sustainability of Krebet Tourism Village in the digital era.
